Hello,
We really need more active admins in the group to help us with critiquing and voting on photographs and also start up some projects such as art features and other fun stuff for everyone to enjoy. If you like the group and want it to continue functioning properly, please consider sending us a NOTE with the following info. We might end up having to close the group if we don't find people who can properly help us get back on track.
Past or current experience with DA groups. Photography experience (how many years of experience, your knowledge, have you taken classes, how you've learned to photograph, etc) Your ability to critique photographs, give feedback to members, give useful advice to members on how to improve their photography. Your time schedule. How much time you could dedicate to the group. Why you think you would be a good fit for the group's admin team.Thank you!
Update - Submissions reopen
Hey all
As you know this group has been dead for quite some time. As of now I've deleted almost all of our gallery folders, and created one "Submit Here" folder. You get 3 submissions per week to that folder, and only 1 vote is required to accept or decline it. I'll be voting, and I'll be a lot more relaxed on the standards we have with what we accept. I won't accept everything, but I'd like to be more welcoming to beginners.
This is just a first step, maybe this group can be reopened for good and have projects again, but as of right now it will only be submissions that will be going on.

We've started a new project that encourages members of the group to critique each others' photos, and rewards them for it! Here's how it works:

New Critique 4 Critique rules/system!
Hello everyone,
We've been doing a lot of trial and error with our Critique 4 Critique project, and we're making a big change so that the project will be more clear, simple, and easy for everyone! Please read this for an explanation of how things will work from now on, and another journal will be posted soon about this topic.
From now on, there will not be a Favorites folder for the Critique 4 Critique project. And there will no longer be a sign up sheet. Members will need to participate by sending us notes of the photos they'd like to be critiqued, after which we will submit a journal with all the photos, leaving the opportunity for ANYONE
